(W211) E55 Wagon
Has anybody taken their E55 wagon to the track or has 1/4 mile times? I ask b/c I will soon be selling my 2000 E55 (W210) and getting a 2005 or 2006 E55 Wagon. I am just curious about the performance. I read the reviews in Car and Driver and Motor Trend but just wanted to get real world numbers.
Thanks ahead of time for any response.

a few...
they are actually set up better for the drag strips, and some track oversteer
. they really get the weight to the back and get more traction ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
that thing really went a lot more different than my E, it was a lot of fun to throw around a bit :v

I don't have any track results ... one of the downfalls buying a car at the beginning of the winter in Seattle
I can tell you that there's nothing like it on the road. I've been moving into a new home for the past week. I can fold the back seats forward, pile the entire back full of things (being careful not to scuff or stain the alcantara liner) and then zoom off to storage and the new home. It's amazing

I love the wagons for the room and for the extra wieght over the rear axle. They also have a little more leg room in the back seat. As surprising as the acceleration of the E55 sedan is to the unsuspecting - the acceleration of the wagon is even more so.... I like the wagons better than the sedans(!).

I took ours to the drag strip a couple of months ago. I will try and hunt down some pictures. Chappy may have some.
I ran solid 12.6's if I remember correctly. Car seats still in the back
On the same track under different conditions I have run 12.4 in my standard E55 and My CLS55 ran 12.3-12.4
The looks at the drag strip are priceless!
If I can hunt down the pictures I will post them again.
