That's kinda high. I have a hard time "swallowing" that, just like I have a hard time "swallowing" stock E55s running 430RWHP. I think what kills the M5s TQ is the small displacement and the fact that it revs so high...just a thought.

445rwhp would equate to an 11% drivetrain loss. This is very feasible.

I dynoed my car in 3rd and 4th gear and made 10whp more in 4th It also has do do with what type of dyno your using
The formula to arrive at your hp is the same regardless of dynos. Dyno manufacturers have differences that will skew the numbers higher or lower depending on how they measure torque. When measuring at the wheels, gearing will have an affect on your hp. When measured at the wheels:
hp = torque(at the wheels/gearing affected) X rpm/5252

Ah I see...I was always under the impression that 15% was the norm.

I know hence the reason why they wanted to dyno using a 1:1 gear ratio.

I dont have a stock rear end in my car and skewed the dyno a little.

they wanted to run it in 4th and I asked to run it in 3rd because I feet that 3rd pulled harder and thought it would put down more power.I was suprised when 4th put down more power

I thought 15% was norm for manual tranny's and 17% for the AMG Speedshifts.
