Moroso 1/4 mile runs, E55 and M5....
Had the E55 just about a week now and took it to the track last night, best run was 12.45 @ 114.19 with a 2.014 60' time..... I botched a few runs messing with the settings, and launch methods.... I'll be back soon for some better runs....
here is my slip:
http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercedes-Be...slip-7655.html
There was nice M5 from the m5board there as well with some tuning work from Active Aerowerk with a best run of 13.4 at 113 mph..... he was having some real traction/launch issues....
Our trap speeds where close, would have been a close highway race...
I have videos of both cars, but they didn't come out that well..... pretty dark out there....

I see the temp was 77 degrees. How humid was it? With a little practice, you can get your 60 foot times into the 1.8X.
The M5 wasn't an E60 was it? I'm guessing with that time that it was a modded E39 series M5.

Not bad considering how humid it was last night. It will only get better.

Here's the thread.

I reckon until it's been proven with unmodified timeslips or video, all it will remain to me is a sales pitch
It does shed some light on the M5's slow time though.
