New Member, New E55
Hey Everyone, I just picked up an E55 this past sunday, and thought I would stop in and say hi. Its an 06, Obsidian Black/Charcoal, with premium package with pano roof, lighting package, keyless go, and parktronic. Here are a couple of crappy pics of the car:

nice ride! I placed an order at the dealer last weekend for the same color combo E55 as yours, same options as yours plus the electronic drunk closer and walnut trim. just got the factory's order number yesterday so everything is under way and I should take delivery of my car in about 12 weeks or so. can't wait !!
question for you. with the blue tinted window, do you plan to tint your window further? anything you don't like about the car so far? (i am sure you have plenty of things that you like so I wonder if there is anything that bothered you so far).

Thanks guys. I cannot think of 1 thing that I dont like about the car so far. Guess its kinda early for that. I do plan to tint the windows further, mainly to keep the temps down in the car. I do like the look of the blue tinting, but its not much of a tint.

Great car, enjoy! Thats the thing about a new car, its hard to find fault in those first couple days! Sort of like a new relationship with a woman! LOL

Welcome and enjoy! That first 1000 miles is the hardest...
I ran every errand I could...sometimes twice just to speed up the breakin.

Well, mine had 3400 miles on it when I got it, so no need to worry about break in. One of the managers at the dealer drove it around for a few months.

Welcome and it looks sweet to me. All other rides will suffer by comparison for you now. It happened to me. I use to love my '00 SL but now it is just a slow chick magnet. :p
