Toyo R1 Or Michilins K2
I purhased a e55 about a month and a half ago,the second day i receive it,i had the k1 installed, the car felt great, but i wanted more power,so a week later i ordered the k2.Having experienced hook up problems with the k1,i knew i was going to have greater hooking problems with the k2,so i ordered an lsd ,and decided to check on tires...........the general consensus on tires was either ps2 or r1.Well what do you know, when i checked the tires on my car they were ps2.Well as soon as my k2 installation is completed we will see how the car hooks up.
Yes it was a used e55.

To be honest even though i am stock from a stop light esp is working very hard. So you probably have it even worse than me!!
I dont think there is a tire to cure our hp/tq problems except Drag Radials

I am beginning to believe it,b/c traction is horrible with the k1 as it is.Hopefully it will make a difference with the lsd.
I am not thinking of putting on d/r,because this car is not gonna be a track car...........strickly street.

This is just me - but I'm not buying the use drag radials on the street because I've modded the performance up on my E55....
If I was dragging at the track, I'd have a set of BF Goodrich or Mickey Thompson drag tires on another set of wheels and switch 'em at the track.
If i wasn't dragging at the track I'd have added an LSD when I had the other performance mods done -
Seems kinda basic to me....

LSD all th way, I have K4 and it help a lot and I am riding on Conti's and I am launching better then K2 without LSD but with PS2. I do think PS2 are overrated. Can't see anyone with K2 or higher without LSD. Good Luck.

Clay I agree. If your really serious I would by another set of rear wheels and put Drag Radials or whatever on them for use at the track or whatever. To my knowledge there is no tire that can handle the amount of tq off the line.
On my other car I only ran Drag radials on them. But I only drove it in good weather, never in the rain. Drag radials are not safe in the rain period
