Finally Two 11 Second Runs Tonight
The setting Carolina Dragway. 30 degrees. Derek's hand me down BFG drag radials. Two 11.99s back to back with 3/4 tank of gas STOCK!

I am so amazed that so many guys run low 12s to high 11s @116+ (STOCK!!!). The engineers at Mercedes did a great job of allowing easy access to the power this engine provides. Nice work!!!

time slips
Carolina Dragway is known as the house of hook and they cut the timeslips in half and keep you runs confidential. The runs were almost identical. Please ignore my reaction time as I was focused on a good launch stalling the motor against the brake.

When I ran with Derek in the 10 second video I ran a 10.08 1000ft but got no time because his dust tripped my light. Just before that I ran Derek's 2006 M5 and I turned in a 10.13 1000ft with a 12.05. So in order to get an 11 second run you have to get your 1000ft down to at least a 10.04 as I did last night.
