Top Speed?
What's the fastest anyone has been on here? Proven, only. I don't want to hear stories, I want to know who has bragging rights. I'm not too big on 1/4 mile drags but I'm considering going for the gold in Utah??

should have stayed on it a little longer to reach 170 but I was coming up on traffic ahead.

That DerekFSU seems to have it on us on all sides!! I knew he was the fastest 1/4 mile, but I didn't know he had the top end as well!
I've only been 145 on mine. Just can't seem to find enough room to open it up. It was stable as a rock and felt like 100. That's why I'd like to get on a track and see how hard my balllls are!!

Make sure you know what you're doing though. Check the tires, everything and find a good stretch of flat, smooth, and deserted pavement.

hit 163 in my old e36 m3 (modded, about 290hp)
160 + (163 or so) in my clk55
both on the freeway
150 in my 1st car 94 e500
on a street (with lights and ****)
now imagine if i kept the e55 floored for as long as it took the m3 to get to 160, for sure 190+
i need to de limit my moms e55

Every time I look at the 320km/h picture I swear I can see the fuel guage drop ...
So guys what tyres / tires are we running to get to those speeds? PS2's are good to 186MPH no ?

my car is totally stock (stock conti tires) except the ecu which is flashed by speedtuning.
Vrus, I'm thinking of gettting K2 or equalivant upgrades. I know top speed is mostly related to gear ratio, and by upgrading to K2, the time takes to reach speed like 320km will shorten, but you do think in anyway it will increase some top speed? Is 340km possible?
