New Tires Already?

I've had the sport continental's on my car for 16,000 miles now. And seems like tires are bald in the rear, time for new tires?

I had to replace mine at 6,000 miles. I would suggest that you do the same. Good luck.

Past time - you did well getting 16K out of the rears, IMO.

A set of pilot sport 2's for 1350.00 good price?
Any other wheel suggestions for my stock 18" rims.

Thanks

Just mounted a set this morning of PilotSport 2's, stock size, at 10Kmi, the rears were going to near slicks, and one developed a sidewall bubble.
I can feel the difference in ride, grip and noise, and haven't even gotten off the mold release yet. Can't wait to feel them scuffed in at 500 miles.
They look good too!

You did do well to get so many miles out of the stock tires, and great choice in the replacements.

I paid less than $1200 for my ps2's a few months ago, shop around. They have this new thing called the internet it is a big help comparing the differant tire stores.

Not to be sarcastic or anything I just priced a set of ps2's at discount tire it was $1194 with tax and mounting Wolf

Just got my PS2's at Discount Tire. $1300 including lifetime damage warranty for all 4. After having my wife's new tires getting 2 punctures in 1 week, and having Discount happily mount 2 new ones for no cost, I'd say it's certainly worth the additional expense.

As far as getting 10K out of the tires, I got the car, a 2004 E55 Designo Graphite, with only 8k miles, and the tires were babied. A bubble in the rt rear sidewall gave me the excuse I needed. My E39M5 never did better than 6-8K or so for rear tire mileage with PS 1's.

Just under $1100.00 with shipping from tirerack.com. Good stuff but I also like the Discount Tire plan with Road Hazzard.

I also need new tires. Tire rack gave me a price on line of 1417 for the below 4 tires.

275/30YR19

245/35YR19

Are those the preferred tires. The price seems over what is listed above?

Thank you very much

Fury
