Paddle Steering Wheel

Here is how the paddles attach to the steering wheel ... it seems to me the connection to the steering wheel is through the same sized opening where the buttons used to be ... so in a work around we just need to retrofit the paddles .... I am trying to get the F1 Saftey Car Steering wheel for the E as the OEM one is a POS. I will let you klnow how I get on ... 1 week and still no response from AMG.

So in a perfect world we could just buy the parts and have the buttons changed out for the paddles? I would pay to have that done. I may have to go into my dealership and talk to my service guy.
