2000 W210 E55->2003 R230 SL500->2004 W211 E55->2007 997TT+2007 E63->2010 GLK350->2012 E550 4matic
Am I the only one who thinks the 997TT looks like a giant frog? Nevertheless, still debating between the E63 and the 997TT.

I always like to drive fairly aggressively and somehow, I feel less like an idiot when doing so in a sedan than a sports car.
The beauty of the 997TT, strong resale and usable power with AWD, the E63, more comfort features (trunk closer, keyless go, ventilated seats, bluetooth phone, quieter ride, etc.).
For someone already having a few larger sedans (BMW 750Li, mini-van) in the household, I must be the only one still comtemplating the E63 over the 997TT. Help I'm addicted to sedans.

2002 E46 M3
BTW, what's with the AMG rep's comment about the E55 not having any perf. packages available. That's right dumb asses, keep pushing people to BMW Could you imagine what the E55 would do to the M5 with it's current HP/Tq and just a little improvement in the handling/feel dept.? It wouldn't take a lot.[/QUOTE]
I looked long and hard at the E55 but instead decided to go with my 3rd M5, the V10 E60. Since the SMG has some of the feel of an automatic transmission anyway, if MB could approach some of the feel, responsiveness, path accuracy, and handling of the M5 with this new E63, I might be tempted to bite. Quality issues are also suspect, though there have been several E60 "lemons" reported on the m5board.com messageboard.
I keep test-driving 911s trying to convince myself that I want that car, and I always conclude that I can only stand about 30 min. of driving it in order to look "cool", then breath an enormous sigh of relief when I get back in my BMWs. So an M5-killer E63 would be a nice alternative.
