By any chance can you post some pics? Have you used the PS2s before and if so how do you think they compare? Were did you get them?

I purchased off ebay... they are a lot quieter than PS2's but I had the PS2's on an M3 haven't ran them on my E55 yet... when I got these tires in I thought they can't be quiet... but they are, as far handling, well let's just say I had a rear good canyon run last night and if the PS2's handled better then I wouldn't wanted to be in the car... these are tight! Again, not sure about the wearing yet, but for the price... I'll store a set in the corner! I think I paid $650 shipped for the set from a dealer in Hayward, CA

I use the same tire and tire size on my 210. I love the price and they perform very well. The only problem I had with the tires is the shoulders. The tire shoulders are very wide so I have some rubbing issues. My 275 rears look wider than some 285-295 tires I have seen.
Overall they are a great tire and bargain

Hmmm, so that is why they looked so wide!! I was thinking that PS2s at 275 would be fine, but now I want MORE!!

Hi Jerry,
My mobile phone crashed, but is revamped now. I will call you in the morning. Dude, i called Ryan and he never called me BACK!!! I think he hates me!!

I got a set of PS2 275/35/18s for the rear stock rims. The car is at Hoehn getting a nice service before Saturday's run. I was hoping to get an extra set of wheels to mount the DRs on, so I could save the PS2s, but he never called. I may just suck it up and order the two from Tire rack.

I will burn you that DVD when I get the car back.

well, if you want to go pick up my wheels from him in OC you can install the DR's on it... Friday I'm in a Golf Tourny so that's shot, but Saturday morning might work... it's going to be rainy this weekend again, not sure if they will drag in the rain and if so you DON'T want DR's...

They will reschedule, if rain.

Hey Jerry: I found some sources for the 18X10 or 18X9.5s that I want. I am trying to figure out what offset, etc i need to make a good fit. There is a butt load of room in the back, but the front suspension arms are closer.

What is your new setup? Do you know what was considered "ideal" as far as width and offset?

Also, I would be into borrowing your wheels with the current tires and seeing how I like the rears mounted on the front. Anyone tried that before?? Thats the 18X9 w/265/35/18s. If I like it, I'll put my rears on the front and just buy 2 new 18X10 or 18X9.5s. Let me know if anyone has feed back or ideas and if I can borrow the rims.

the stock wheels I believe are 29 offset in front and 35 in rear... I am currently using 19x8.5 with 35 in front and 19x9.5 with 40 in the rear with no rubbing... sure if you get my wheels in Newport you can use the rears for the front... they should fit since I'm running 35 in front right now.

Could you PM/email me his info as well? Looks like I will be needing a set of tires soon and I wouldn't mind giving these a try. Thanks in advance.

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta

So .. any further updates on the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta?
Anyone else using them?

I keep hearing great things about them ... considering them to replace my RE050A's

These tires scored very well in the recent Evo tire test. I think the final ranking had them 2nd.

I have been hearing a lot about these tires recently. From audi to bmw guys. Theres also a thread in the SL forums. Vredestein makes great winter tires. The Ultrac Sessantas are all around performance tires. I don't think they are Ultra performance tires. I also hear that they are super wide, very quiet, awesome in the rain, and hooks up real well. Pricing on these tires are supposed to be very competitive.

I did a search on google and found them on performance plus tire.

I'm wondering the same guys....Has anyone had a lot of experience with these tires?

My buddy with a B7 S4 has the winter ones for his winter wheels. He is thinking about getting the Ultrac Sessantas, but for next spring.

i had my Ultrac Sessantas (19s) on W211. very good grip (sometimes to the point it is annoying, when you want to do some donuts), they feel better than my Michelins my new E550 came with.

I had the tires for about 1000 miles, after I sold the car, i swapted them on my bmw 335 (so far about 3000 miles, and doesnt look like i have to change them yet)

i've got them from RB Tech, (downtown LA)
the price is very good. i thinks its because they are somewhat new in the US market.

and the tires just look good.

I plan on ordering a set from performance plus tire in Long beach. Tires/tax and shipping to San Diego is about $700 for 275/30/19 and 245/35/19. If you go pick them up you save $30 in shipping cost.

He's the only nut that likes them. Also, his last three sets blew up. Hmmm, go figure.
