Doesn't add up? Take the car to a track! I hope the numbers are right I just don't think it's possible. Look at what everyone else with K2's are pulling at the rear wheels. You have almost 100 more hp at the tires than they do. I just don't think it's possible. These motors are hand built and we really don't have that big of a gap between each others cars. I know your excited but, I just don't think it's accurate. Let us know what it runs at the track. With that HP you should be close to the 10's with DR's, at least 11.teens. Good luck.

Can you post up some info on the system you used....wet or dry...AND where in the hell does that switch go in such a luxury car.

Oh yeah, spent over 12k for my mods and pulled 476rwhp so on behalf of all of us that got...

Quote: I know, I couln't believe it either.

After the first run, I said that's at the crank, right? He said no. I said well your dyno is broken! He said no, that's at the wheels and it's correct. OK, we do it again and it get's higher! We ran it with ESP off in 4th gear to 179mph, I thought it was going to blow up! Go figure! I guess I need to go to the track!
I hope for your sake that is right, but I just can't believe it. That means your putting down almost 640hp and 700+ ft. lbs of torque on K1 (only pulley and ecu). That's insane. Something has got to be wrong with their dyno setup.

A similar thing happend with a guy on this board who has a SLK 55KS8. Dyno said almost 500 rwhp but the car was only really putting down around 440 rwhp. The dyno was calibrated incorrectly.

Take the car to the track and let's see what your trap speeds are.

I am not excited, I am frustrated. Just like you and everyone else, I don't believe the numbers. I want to, but there is no way that they can be right.

I would much rather of had a few strong pulls that are within the expected range. Oh well, I guess I will take it to another shop and have it dynoed again.

Don't get frustrated bro. If the car feels faster then it's obviously making more power and that's what matters. Does it feel stronger? Don't get hung up on the numbers. My dyno numbers are some of the lowest numbers I've seen on this board (440rwhp) but, I have one of the fastest times (1/4 mile run) if not the fastest with just headers, pulley and ecu. Take it out and beat it instead of taking it to get dynoed at another shop. That's what you're modding the car for anyway right

I agree with E55 Baller, You have to get that freak to the track and get a trap speed. If you trap higher than 123mph. I will be the first to have a K2 to K1 conversion........................................ ......I wonder if Cory will give me a partial refund?

Pretty cool. You're only 20hp behind my K2 E55 with a 65 wetshot. If all dyno's are correct (insert laughter here), then you should run around 11.3-11.4 with better tires. With street tires, I'd imagine you should be 11.5ish. GET TO THE TRACK SIR!
