Kleemann Lowering Module Install

Has anyone here installed the Kleemann ELM themselves? The folks over at Kleemann HQ said it's a relatively easy job. I purchased the lowering module and hopefully it will arrive in time to install this weekend.

Thanks in advance.

Yes I did. It was very easy. Took a couple hours just because I was so meticulous with the install. Made sure everything was perfect and doublechecked everything countless times. LOL.

I'm very happy with the product.

Self-installing a lowering module

About installing ANY module... One must know two things: How o cleanly solder wires together and how to insulate them (perhaps the best with heat-shrink tubing.

I am not a car technician but I can solder very well. CLS install took about three hours, and I am slow at these things. I recommend to instal modules like RennTech describes in their user manuals, step-by-step (cut one wire at a time, solder two RennTech harness wires to it and immediately 'beep' it out for good connection AND to prove a proper wire was cut. Only then go to the next wire. The user manuals are available to download:
