Difference between '05 and '06??

I am picking up the '06 this morning and want to make myself feel better about the $30K loss (HAAAH). Any additions, deletions, improvements, deprovements, etc??

I thought I saw somewhere that the fog lights are now active roll, too. Is that so??

Car manufactures are often known for making changes to things that are not visible or reported for a new model year.

I LOVE IT!!!

I noticed 2 differences in the 20 miles I've put on it.

1- the roller for the arm rest has different grooves in it that make it track a little more smoothly (barely noticeable)

2- the head rest no longer pivots. the entire thing now moves.

That is is for now. The 100HP will come, my friend. Just not from MB. I swapped out tires and kept the PS2s (had almost 500 miles on them) on the rear.

Jeff, good luck baby. Hoehn is good people.

Now to get it tinted, lowered, debadged, etc etc etc.

Make sure you demand that they don't touch the car or put plate screws in it!! I was thrilled that mine came in so untouched!! Don't fall for the black car needs paint sealant part, either. Get it and get that thing polished and some wax on it. There will be no swirls, if you take care!!

Found some other differences, again very minor:

- there is a metal rest foot plate on the '06.
- the glove box has a compartmentalization to it now.
- the trunk closer opens and closes much faster and with a much lighter touch. The '05 "missed" at times or had to be held for a sec, the new one just jumps.

I just got the windows timted today, and it turns out that the '06 has felt lining on the windows that my '04 E500, and '05 E55 didn't have.
