How does this work and what good is it?

Is it basically for run-flat tires?
My jeep has it, but it has a screen that ctually shows the pressure in each wheel at all times. i was hoping the MB one was the same, but I guess it is just a warning light? Does it even say which tire? Also, can these settings be adjusted?

In the 2005 models, it shows the pressure in each tire.

One of my best mod...
It keeps you safety with tire pressure displayed on instrument cluster controlled by steering wheel buttons and always accurate than any other pressure gauge. It Worth every penny.
Call for steve...

This is indeed what it is, but it is so much a pain, sensitive, on my fathers S430 that I opted to not even order it on my car.

For the 2006 model I don't see anywhere in the MB website(build-your-car page) as an option. Is it standard in 2006?

I was told it is now a standard feature of the '06. can anyone verify that it is standard and not an option?
