The track night was a great time for me. Got to meet some fellow forum members who gave me alot of great insight on modding the car.
First run was a 13.4 which I was okay with considering that was what I saw someone else post for the same car on dragtimes. That run was with ESP off.
I hooked good on the first run, so I decided to get more aggressive with the gas and also try a dyno-mode run for the second run. What a disaster.......the car just spun and spun even as I feathered the gas...and then it started to go sideways on me around 40 mph just as I was thinking about how that ABS is deactivated!
I got out of the throttle and then got the nose going straight and tried to salvage a time under 30 seconds...
I'll chalk it up to a learning experience. I suppose the first mod is an LSD!
Can't wait to try it again. I've got to find a way to get the luxo-barge into the 12's!!!!

Definitely keep us updated on the track rental, i did not go last time, but i would like to do it sometime. This way i can make a fool of my self launching over and over without having to wait in a line long!

I would be interested in a track rental. It was hard to get a good feel of the launch doing 2 runs in 3 hours.....
Danny....sounds like you and I had similar issues at the line. I was barely doing a burnout prior to getting to the line so maybe that was killing my traction a little? I had always thought you didn't need to do a burnout unless you run slicks or DR's so I just spun them a bit to get the contaminates off.
Looking forward to next time!
