why doesn't the e55 come with this setup (discs and calipers)?

I wouldn't be surprised if Brembo did make the brakes for AMG.

Actually they do make em for AMG's. I know for a fact that Ferrari and Porsches uses them.

the SL55 is the first mercedes-benz using a 8-capilar brake system. it doubles the braking-surface compared to other benz breaks. and belive me, a 500hp car the weights ~2000kg needs this !

Actually they do make em for AMG's. I know for a fact that Ferrari and Porsches uses them.

actually Lambourgini has Brembo's too...they just say Lambo on the brake, but look closer, they have the (b) sign in the rear..on the new Murceilago(sp?)

Can either one of those AMG brakes be retrofit in to the E55? I mean the brake systems fro SL55 or from C32???
