Octane Booster

Has anyone used Octane Booster when dragging their cars at the strip or just riding around town?

I did last week. Added it to 93 octane gas. I didn't set any land speed records.

I wouldn't use the stuff, just put in a few gallons of 100 octane gas when you get to the track.....

Was thinking of doing this but just decided on getting 101oct and right now playing with 104oct. Between the 101 and 104 there's a minimal difference. Hardly notice it. Just go straight 100+ if you can or if it's available in your area.

'03 G500, '13 G63, '17 GLS63,
I used the NOS Race Formula. In my area, we only get 91 octane and this one has been proven to raise it to 93+ octane level. I can tell a difference in my Supra and the E55 seems to respond a little better. On the E55 it could just be in my head considering its $12 a bottle, lol, but on the Supra I can pretty much confirm it.

I sometimes due half 91 and half 100, which makes my car drive much better. I have done all 20gallons in 100 but the car didn't drive any better. For my car anything over a 50/50 mix is a waste of $$$

You are also in the 11's right? Maybe my NA engine doesn't need it.

I think I should be in the mid-11s with street tires, but I have't been able to achieve it yet. Best time is 12.1. A number of execuses from my first time at the strip to poor weather conditions, to too much gas. Car only has 1600 miles on it, so maybe that is an excuse as well. Seems that there are a number of E55s running 12.1, some even high 11s, that are stock. I have a Renntech ECU, pulley, and headers and am running 12.1. WTF!! Either my car was slow stock or I have no idea what I am doing when I run it at the track...

It also depends where you live, some of the fastest times are some place in Texas. Also you have so much power that you need good sticky drags tires to make all those HP's work. It's all about the launch

I have tried a drag octane booster once and didn't notice much difference except that the engine pulled smoother. Would probably be better off trying race fuel instead.
