My Beast received the MBenzNL treatment
Steve came to Bean Town today and worked on my beast as well as Lee's beast wagon. I got the following done:
1. Illuminated AMG Door Sills
2. Power Folding Mirrors
3. Version Coding
4. Lowering (we only got about 1/2" though)
5. Replacement of the center armrest with the ROW one
Steve did all these in a matter of 5-6 hours, which is amazing as usual. Also, the craftsmanship is light years ahead of the dealership wrench monkeys. Thank you Steve for his hardwork, Wanda for coordinating the installs, and Lee for letting us use his garage for the installs.
Looking forward to the next MBenzNL treatment (Euro COMAND and all the good stuff associated with it)
Pics will come tomorrow if weather permits.

Version Coding = A way to use the Star Diagnosis to turn on some features that got disabled by Mercedes on the '06 cars. However, we can't get the easy entry exit to move the seats as well

It certainly was an epic all nighter that Steve pulled to get my wagon finished and back on a 5.40am plane back to CA. After catching the redeye to Boston and then doing Kevin's car he started mine at 4pm and worked through to 5am, non stop, to install SIRIUS, sills, parktronic, ipod and the folding mirrors. He's a machine, a perfectionist and everything you all rave about. I really didn't imaging how far in he'd get into the car so I took some pics with the wagon's guts hanging out which I'll post tomorrow along with its first veiwing on this forum. Hopefully the sun will be out...

Holy crap! Which mod was responsible for the top half of the car being gutted???
It couldnt have been #3,4 or 5.. No way #1 caused it.. Are you saying installing power folding mirrors requires all of the top half of the dash being removed??
