I had my 245's swapped out to the 255's and the visual difference was readily apparent as I watched them do the work.

not as much cross section difference visually... from the front or rear, but side wall appearance was mostly notably better.

running 255's front and 285 rears with no problems (perhaps slight rub on full turn in reverse with abc in sport 2).

Yes it is! Haven't you heard? The size does matter!
And, we have to stay ahead of the Boys in Blue: their SS Commodores ride on 235's...

Have you actually understood anything I told you about the offset?
It is up to Carlsson to supply you the correct adapters(spacers) and don't take any nonsense or excuses from them. Ask for ET30 Front and ET38 R.
If they give you ET31 or ET33 Rear, you will shred your nice new 285 tires the first time you race a Moskvich on Sadovoye Kaltso..

Man...i think I understood...

Correct size Carlsson wheels UL wheel ET45 front and E40 rear...

The correct fitting mentioned on Carlsson site is ET 30 Front and ET 33 rear...so 15mm adapter and 10mm adpter...

285/30 not 285/35...

By shred you mean...it will hit the fenders

You 100% sure about ET38 for 285/30 19's with lowering module...?????

Kleemann uses offset 42 TS6 19x10 and when installed with 285/30 rear it become ET27...

Kleemann 42 19x10 uses ET 27 for 285/30 rear...
It works for me and only leaves a 3mm gap on full compression. You do the maths: 38-3mm=35mm net offset as it touches the inside of the rear fender.
If you use ET27, send a bill to Kleemann for the 8mm of rubber you are going to shave off the rear tire.
I tried ET33 with 285 tires and they rubbed as soon as I fully compressed the rear suspension. If Carlsson tells you to go ET33, do it, just get it in writing that it is OK with 285/30/19 tires. When you scrape the outside of your rear tires, ask them to replace them with new ones and get you thicker spacers.

As long as they guarantee this fit, take it!
You might want to stick some white masking tape all around the inside of the rear fender and check it for black tire marks after a few days. Alternatively, to speed it up, reverse up a drivaway and onto a curb (be careful not no scratch your wheel!) and test the clearnce under full compression. Good luck!

Guess what Carlsson said " If it will rub, then you wold have to do some bodywork" Bastrdsthey have thier noses too high in the SKY, they think they are the BEST...

So if my stock rear wheel is ET40 then I would need to get 2-3mm adapters to go ET37 or ET 38 ???
