Any idea how much E55 windshield is??
Think I had asked this before but noone knew...anyone have a windshield replaced on the beast? How much?
Called the stealer but true to form, they were jerks and wanted VIN number off the car or would not give me even a rough estimate.

Ask your insurance company about a new one. Here in Florida if you have full comprehensive coverage, there is no deductible for a windshield replacement. If you're covered and you need a bigger crack or chip in the driver's field of vision to qualify, use a brick to fix it.

or you can just repair it for 10 bucks ... you can get a kit and repair it anytime you get a crack .. heard it fixes repairs like "new" anyone else try such a thing ? http://www.alltvstuff.com/leat5.html

I go to school in Indiana where the worst roads are at....
So, my windshield is pretty much ruined with those rock chips...
Anywayz, i stopped by at the dealer last week and it came
out to be $1100...Is it a rip off???
