I don't think they can stop you for just no front plates, it's not a primary offense.

Jack, I've just received the euro command in the mail the other day. I will install that this weeekend. As for mods, its a fully loaded car. Possibly folding mirrors could be a mod. Or E63 trunk lid. As for the engine, I dont need more reason to suck up gas..... plus 469 is enough for me.

On darker color the little holes don't look so bad, see if you can find small little plastic caps to cover the holes and have them painted. Congrats on the car .

Get those bumper plugs to plug the holes (get them painted to body color though. They will not be very conspicuous on a Midnight Blue E55.

Solar panels E-class

Hi

The car look great.
Did you by the panoramic roof, with the solar panels on the roof?

So really sure if my pano roof has the solar panels on the roof or not. It would be nice to know. How can I find out?

I seriously considered this car. It does look great, and it's loaded. It has the pano roof, but no solar panels. The only "negative" is high miles, but that's just a money thing, and he gets 18 months or so of free maintenance, which is nice.

I am curious, where are those cars with the solar panels, and what happened to them (did they discontinue them in 2005)?

Also, what are people's favorite snow tires? I used Blizzard's on my CLK55 and they seemed pretty good...this time around, I am thinking of getting a spare set of rims as well...anyone know a good source for a good deal on winter rims? What about used/reconditioned rims? [For your people in CA, FL, AZ, or with big garages and multiple cars, including a Range Rover, ignore this question.]

SOWA = South of Washington St...borderline South End. My office is near the Pine Street Inn on Harrison Ave...probably about a mile from you.
