Was thinking about it but I want people to see MMEEE when i am driving...so i might not tint...i am lovin it stock!

Law here too, and I don't have them. Screw them, cops should be ticketing speeders and wreckless drivers, not people that don't have front plates.

And I'm getting tint done soon. I HATE it when people see me in the car.

I've been pulled over (previous m3, not in the e55). Luckily, I had it in the trunk and told the cop that I just hadn't been able to find a bracket yet. I've thrown the front plate on mine, car's silver though w/ chrome brackets and with the USA plates that MA offers, I actually don't mind it as much.

MA has some pretty crazy tinting laws, I believe too. Anyone know how deep a tint you're allowed to go?

Did you just buy this car from Flagship? I thinki t's a beautiful car and loaded...I considered it last month VERY seriously...in the end , I just went for a new one...but this is a beautiful '04!

Tint law in Mass is 35% in the passanger and driver front windows.. The rear 3 windows can be limo tint!

I have the plates in my trunk too just in case.

The tinting regulation is 35% for front & back side windows, back windshield and the top 6 inces of the front windshielf.

Notice that since our car already has a slight blue tint from factory, so the lowest you can go is 40% to stay legal. If you have a dark interior, you can't really tell the difference, but if you have a lighter interior like my car, it would be noticeable.

Christian, I vote for 35% tint all around! Make sure the installer uses moleskin on your doorsills, though. They all say the tint won't scratch, but it certainly does.

Don't give me any JURIS-MY-DICK-SHUN SH*T......lol. Illinois law states front plate and NO tint on front windows! Never been pulled on either. Try it you'll like it!

^^^ I SECOND THAT. ALL OF MY CARS WILL NEVER HAVE FRONT PLATES. PERIOD. IMO, IT JUST RUINS THE BEAUTIFUL LOOK OF THE CAR.

I guess you don't need inspection stickers in IL. I know I didn't when I lived in WI and I can put 30% Huper Optik front side and back and not get into trouble.
