Service Campaign
I just took my car in for a service campaign and it includes the following...
Recall relay air injection pump and secondary air injection pump
Diagonosis assitance system, disconnect & connect
Engine Control Unit Software, Install
Control Unit (W/ DAS CON.) Code
Battery Charger D/C
Fault Memory (W/ DAS CON) Read out and Erase
Replaced alternator voltage regulator
all of course no charge..
The beast runs amazing now. I thought it ran great before but now it revs faster and smoother and the engine sounds incredible. Time to go to Sac. and make a run.

Does it appear that all of the work that you described is "standard procedure" for service campaign no. 2006-030011, as opposed to any work specific to your car alone?
The work that you describe is more than the items that were listed in the service campaign letter that I received.

I received the same letter as you but when I got to the dealership I was told that are 4 recalls or campaigns on the car that had to be done and that it would take most of the day. I took it in at 9am and it was done by 4pm.

Took both the E55 and CLS55 in for the recall campaign. I have not driven the CLS(wife's car) but the E really feels faster. Maybe it just a psychological thing.
