Bringing this thread back from the brink to say I just found out Peter Gerlach built the first of its year M156 in my 2007 E63...about to hit 200K and while I'd done headbolts and cam adjusters preemptively...it's always purred like a kitten

Out of the three E55s/M113Ks I've owned, hands down the strongest motor out of the three. Hope he's still working his magic at AMG 17+ years later... anybody else have this guy? Couldn't find him in the thread search..

But, I believe that your local MB dealership can order a replacement placard, but you will need your registration for verification purposes.
I would expect you to pay around $300 for it. I briefly remember someone contacting Mercedes-AMG about this years ago.

If my memory serves me, granted it has been some time since this question has been asked.
But, I believe that your local MB dealership can order a replacement placard, but you will need your registration for verification purposes.
