Torsten Hoyer for me. 21 at the time of the article, but it looks like he's been with AMG 6 years by the time he built mine. Weird, no others reported built by hime. Maybe he took his time with mine

1st motor: Joachim Schmidt (blew up at 30K ish)
2cnd motor Blew at 39 k on someone else, and I bought it in peices. Built by Terzel Wezel , if I read that correct.
This Wezel blown motor, was re-built by a good ol Texan- American named Bill.. Built by our local friendly MB dealer of course.. 4k and going strong with good old American forged pistons..
17 ounces lighter= 6500 less lbs to move every 8 minutes@6500 rpm. Yes, you can feel that weight loss!

Who Built My Engine
Thomas Konstantin here.
He did a great job on mine.
He also built the engine in the Silver W212 Press car that all mags have been abusing, at least 2 have a picture of his sig in their write ups.
