if you go to the amg private lounge website and click on "people of amg" then click on master mechanics a screen will appear with all the signed engine plates. as you run your cursor over the plates his name will appear! it might take a bit of searching but if you have a plate its on there

Torsten Hoyer for me too. 2003 SL55. At first I thought the last name was Royer, but after seeing several other posts on the forums, I'm pretty sure it's Hoyer.

Found this video of a CLS55 in a Top Gear episode with the same engine builder, mentioned around 6 minutes 25 seconds.
