I cannot make mine out. There is a database with plaques on the AMG site, but my guy is not there. Probaly forged.

I have the same builder and was diogging around trying to find out who built mine as well.

If this is your plate your correct it was Timo Brill. Also who did my motor. Running good at 50K so far.

Christoph Glania built the engine in my E55. The thing I strong as all get up even after I just ticked over 60k. Got her with just under fiddy. Did a 500+ mile round trip to DC from NY to a protest rally, few challengers, none could hang 'cept a guy in a Stang Cobra, son sez it was GT500. But by then I was tired, and dragging my *** home after along day. The Beast ran like a champ. Brain is wired to its speed now but it's still mind boggling to step in it for a few seconds then look back and everyone is waaay behind you. I LOVE this car, only my KTM dirt bike can scare me as much.

HEY! Awesome, I have an AMG cousin. Friend request is on the way buddy. :-) Good to hear she is still hammering at 70K, I'll prolly be there by next year. Found a Master Tech who is also a motocross racer, perfect, I have a guy who will help keep her running good.

I was at Pebble Beach this summer and saw the beautiful Pagani Huayra.. The breathtaking MBZ twin turbo V12 was built by the the same builder who did the factory motor in my 2008 CL65 (Spring 2007 produced) ... Hat's-off to engine builder "Volker Haag" who seems to be busy cranking out quite a few specialty bi-turbo 12's. I just learned from my dealer that this week, somewhere in Austria they are assembling my G65. I get it in 4 weeks. Will let you all know if Volker was behind that one as well.
