2006 E55 AMG
New to the forum.
I took delivery of my 06 E55 two weeks ago. I am the previous owner of a modded F-Body. It was plenty fast and fun to drive but the E55 is a whole new ball game. I am constantly amazed at the power and the fact that I can get a "back rub" while I'm accelerating at speeds never before seen in my other "fast" car. I know there are a few of you who post from the So. Nevada area and I would love to meet up with you to learn more about this incredible vehicle.

I started out with F-bodies also . . . .I still have a Y2K SS Vert that is 745 at the rw. 427 Darton block with a D-1SC procharger. It's everything I never wanted. I have an 05 E55 that I will drive or sell and get a CLS55 . . .have not made my mind up. MB is serious about the horsepower wars when mod fever sets in it can not be touched.

Thanks. I'll be taking photos soon. The mods are already in. I did a Renntech Stage 5. I know, I know, but I have a need for speed and power. It's already a ton of fun and I haven't even been WOT. I wish I would have had a chance to get a baseline dyno before the mods but I had it all done at the time of purchase. Got it in Lindon UT where they are a Renntech certified dealer.
