Project Renntech Stage 1 E55

Hello guys,

Today is dyno day for our customers E55. I will post the dyno sheets later this afternoon. Tomorrow we are going to install the Renntech pulley and flash the software. Friday we are going to do a dyno run again and will post dyno sheets for the board.

I will keep all E55 members posted during our 3 day Renntech project!

I am looking at this mod also, so your work is very timely. It seems that there is quite a large spread of results between different cars. It will be interesting to see what the air/fuel ratio is between stock and modified.

Nope, the ECU is going to be overnighted and will be flashed by the RT team in AZ.

I'm very interested in the results as I have had RT mods and didn't have time to establish a baseline dyno on my vehicle.

Ok, ok...

My car tested as follows:

H.P.: 422
Torque: 477

I'm working off of memory, but I think those are correct. Adam will no doubt post the details and maybe a scan of the graph.

Are these normal results? Low? High?

I'm definitely looking forward to getting the car back. The folk at Kronen indicate it'll be done for my by Friday afternoon. Can't wait! I'll post subjective impressions as soon as I cruise back home.

Skeeter

That's after the mods? To be honest, that seems kind of low.

If you don't me asking which shop did the dyno? Was it a Dynojet?

Honestly, I think those are the post-mod numbers. He says in his original post, "Are these normal results? Low? High?"

If they are post-mod numbers... I'd be disappointed. Going to take an optimistic view and [I]guess[I]it's pre-mod.

PRE mod! Pre...

Post mod to follow. Mods haven't yet been done.

So how good are those numbers for a un-modded car?

It is pre mod dyno. Skeeter, according to Renntech it is a very healthy E55. I will post the sheet tomorrow morning.

Also, DynoSport Racing incidentally had a new M5 dyno-ed. Came out to be 429.

422rwhp with 18% driveline loss is about ~497bhp. That's only 50 less than my 350z. Seriously, that is a VERY healthy E55.
