2003 E55 K1
I can't believe how young you guys are. I would have thought vast majority over 45. I have made a lot of money in my life and I could not afford an E55 until at leat 40+. I am now 58.

I tip my hat to those of you who bought your car with your own money.

I'm 18 and getting ready to finalize my college decisions
No E55 and I haven't paid for a car yet by myself but plans are in the pipeline for my own car by the end of my teenage years... and hopefully something a bit quicker than the X5.

Poll was a great idea...I am kind of surprised too at how young some of you guys are !! Wonder if it is typical only of AMG cars because of the hi-perf nature...I always though MB 's were driven by old fogies !! Guess I am one now anyway

Was totally up in the air a few months ago and finally (almost 100%, after tomorrow it's set in stone pretty much) decided on UH industrial engineering with a minor in ... something... (business administration, writing, advertising, economics, or a multitude of other things )

I'm going to work for (with in a few years) my dad.

ic, a friend of mine did the exact same thing in Hong Kong. He did a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering and then worked for his parents' company. Not a bad thing......

No longer stock '06 E55, A3 3.2 Quattro, LRD4 HSE, R107 280SL
36 ... but when I was 20-25 the fastest car around did the 0-100 dash in just under 6 seconds.. old LP400 Countach / and 930 Porsche turbo... soon after came the F40 and 959 ... which set new benchmarks ... sub 4 seconds & 200mph!

Wow we now have saloons which can keep up ... well almost.

That's a good attitude, unlike me. I would never want to work for my mom or my dad.

Hey, I'll be 33 on the 16th...Happy upcoming b-day.

Well, hopefully this isn't my last mid-life crisis car! Now that I've gotten a few things the wife requested (a nice house...a pool/cabana...a couple of kids... ), I finally get my first toy! (assuming you don't count the '97 m3 or '01 clk430... ). Of course, even this was her idea (uh, sort of...). She wanted to get a third car to leave one behind for the babysitter. Boy, was she surprised when she let me roll with that idea and I had this BEAST delivered to the house!

BTW, could I have stratified those buckets any better? Wow, they're pretty much all equal...
