I was told that we weren't there yet on minimum orders, but with the backlog of calls he had yet to return, it didn't look like there would be any problem making it.

I just place my order and Simon mentioned he has enough for the group buy to take effect. By the way, also ordered new brake pads which should be replaced when putting in these new rotors. Once I get both brake pads and rotors, I am going to have them cryo'ed.

That being said, they were a bit knicked up... huge gouges in the 2 front rotors (not too happy about this). Not just scratches..... gouges in the metal. Extremely poor packing job likely caused this. Simon/Evosport, I'll be calling you on Monday to discuss this.... not a happy camper. Not only did I pay more than all you guys (I wasn't even going to try to get the same price), but my rotors were effectively "damaged"... not cool.

i bought AMG calipers and rotors and whoever packed them only used a little bubble wrap. the rotors have gouges and so do the calipers.
if you order from him, make sure he packs them right!

Guys!! You have one more day to get your orders in!!!
I spoke with Simon today and he only has five confirmed orders thus far.
Also, for those that were concerned with drill holes being too close to the edge (as you see in the first picture), they have been moved. The last three photos show the new drill pattern for those that are getting the cross-drilled rotors. So, no worries.
Finally, I probably sound like a shill for EVO but I get no remunerations for my effort, except a relatively good price on a nice upgrade. I was hoping Simon would at least send me a set of free front pads.

In addition to the evo rotors I replaced the stock battery (60+ lbs) with a Odyssey battery (weighs 25lbs) and also removed the spare/trunk stuff.
Weight savings of approx. 50lbs. + reduction of 34lbs in unsprung weight (evo rotors) = more tire spin.
