Talking White with Cashmere interior & Premium package 2

I spec'd the new "White" whatever it's called along with the new Cashmere interior that I saw on a CLS500. It's great, kinda like old line or classic Mercedes interior. Additionally, i spec'd the Premium 2 package. Anybody wanna buy a low mileage well kept 2003 W211 E55 ???

Jangy

The wheel for me in the E55 was to thin and is not IMO the quality of a 100k car should have. The wheel in my 01ML55 is nicer to me than the stock E55 wheel. I have seen tons of people say the same thing. I never said Wood would improve the wheel. You can of course get a wheel without wood or any combination of leather alcantra or whatever

If I were ordering a car I would consider it since it is a much cheaper option from the factory it seems.

I don't want to flame w/you. I guess I'm one of the only people that likes the stock Mercedes Wheels. I do like the new one (E63) and the MP Design one, but I also like the stock one. I agree it is not as aggressive as I'd like, but that has nothing to do w/$100k

Glad you like it Jangy!!!

I think the only difference in the E63 wheel is the paddles right. Maybe the shape is different.

I got the Carlson wheel on my car and let me tell ya it is like a night and day difference.

To each there own

I think the e63 wheel has more contours on it, too and may be a bit thicker. the paddles are not as big as I was worried about, but I still do not like them (accidental hits in road courses).

mm, isn't the Carlson one the same shape as the MP design? That is my favorite one.

Question

Does anyone know if Sirius is standard for 2007? It isn't listed on the order guide.

Supposedly the wheel is the same as the wheel on an SL55. If that is the case the wheel is slightly smaller in diameter and thicker. I drive my SL55 every day and occasionally drive my wife's E55. The difference in the wheels is dramatic. The E55 wheel feels flimsy in comparison to the SL55.

MP Design is the same. GORGEOUS!! Is the wood just like the Birds Eye Maple in the car?

Jangy yes the wood is the same.

I just saw some pics of the new E63 wheel and it looks way better than our current wheel.
