BTW do you know if I could do the transplant of the buttons? I have changed several steering wheels before so that is not a problem

I think you can but it is highly recommended to have a dealer do it! But i am sure if you have the experience you are fine!

Carlsson wheels are very nice...

Do you know if they are still making the same steering wheels for E-class as they used to make for 220 S-class...Which is mostly leather one but has wood insect on top and bottom...

That wheel is sweet, but thats a lot of dough. I wish they would have at least used the beefier CLS55 wheel with the Alcantara trim in the 06 E55. The E55 wheel is way too thin and looks & feels cheap IMO.

That's beautiful but a bit pricey...
