First drive impressions
Mother nature co-operated here and the sun was out. Took my first official drive in my 04. Jeeez!!!! I drive a lot of old school big block muscle....but this thing is ridiculous ! First time ever in anything similar and I must admit...you need to be paying attention when you get into the power ! I took the ESP off for a while. Its nearly impossible to come out of the hole with any traction. I was steering it like crazy to keep it straight !I needed 2 hammers to beat my d%#@ down after that ride.
Wish it had LSD. Now I know why you guys call these cars "beasts" !!! I have to figure out a way to get rid of this perma grin I'm wearing now !!!! WOW.

And by the way, AMG will be ofering the performance package a-la 030 on the upcoming E63. I am hoping that some of us can use the parts to update our "older" Es?

Ya these cars are pretty impressive..........Tons of power, luxury, handling, room for 5 and a couple of sets of golf clubs what else could you ask for. 0-60 in 4.2- 1/4 mile in the low 12's and an ungoverned top speed in the 200 mph range............it feels good to be King!
