It's a shame that MB decided to go for a naturally aspirated engine whereas other manufacturers are improving induction methods.
Mercedes will sell the normally aspirated E63 for a few years, like they did with the 210 E55. Get everyone used to the naturally aspirated engine but leave room for improvement so if someone else comes a knockin' they can smack them back down. Once they build the E63 twin-turbo, everyone that's a true performance nut will sell/trade-in their NA E63 for the TT model.

It sure does, it is called the C6Z06. Having a MSRP under $70K and does the 1/4 in low 11's stock. Best value of any supercar ever

I did a run with a friend with a 996TT and it outran my SL55 by a margin. Esp. the Porsches 4WD makes a difference on launch.
