I sold the E55 for the 997TT, can't wait. The tiptronic will be pretty amazing, believe it or not, it is largely based on the excellent 5 speed MB box we have in our cars.
And there will not be an SMG style box, only the DSG style in a year or two.
All things considered, it's quite a bargain with quarter mile in the mid 11s.

We won't know the tuning capabilities until it actually hit the streets in July, coz of the newer variable timing turbo technology. However, thx to the same technology, the 997TT hauls *** starting from 2000rpm.
