Powerchip ECU uprgrade?

Hey all,
Been looking around at an ECU flash to do. Want driveability as good or better than stock, smoothness, added power, and relative undetectability.

Of course I've looked at Renntech and Kleemann, but Powerchip strikes me with their extra high numbers on 93 octane. Since that is our premium gas here in Texas, it makes sense to do.

My question is: Has anyone tried Powerchip group on any of their cars, and if so, what were your experiences? Good? Bad?

What about other ECU upgrades? Renntech, Kleemann?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Drives Slowly
I think the Powerchip ECU upgrade is about $2,000.00 and does not include a larger SC belt.

I am not aware of anyone on this site that has used it on a W211 E55. I would suggest you find out what their policy is on an ECU re-flash before your Merc dealer decides to download a revised software program that deletes Powerchip's data.

I never heard of anyone of this site that uses Powerchip ECU alone...To me not much point...for 2k you can get jsut pullies and you car will make more power then with ECU...

C63 AMG (stock right now), Beach Cruiser (debadged), Piper Cherokee 280 (too much to mention)
Powerchip!

My friend had his E55 done with just a chip and the gains are OK - but MUCH better with the pulley!

I am going to get it done at evosport in next few weeks.

I will keep ya'll posted
