To Lower or Not to Lower?

I am having serious thoughts whether to lower or not, since I have installed the Carlsson Front Lip; I am afraid the lip will Scratch and Rub everywhere. I know it will look much better but I don’t want to mess my front bumper either. Any thoughts? My lowering method is Renntech Module!

Ditch the lip and lower the car.

The lip looks good, but personally I like the look of a lowered e55 more than I like the look of the lip. If I had to choose one or the other, I would choose lowering the car. Or, you can leave the lip and run the risk of scuffing it up... won't really be a big deal because the scratches are on the bottom. If you crack it... well that is a different story. FYI -- I had a CF lip on my C55K which was lowered and it didn't scrap that much... you just have to be careful.

ya, scratches on the underside can be painted with touch-up paint and they will be virtually invisible to anyone that isn't hunkered over looking at the lower side of the bumper/lip.

Never. You just go in/out at an angle. Speed bumps are what you need to look out for.

If you come to PR you will be amazed at the roads here they are all wavy and to get to my home I have to pass atleast 7 speed bumbs and at work there is a really big one which I have to always change my cars suspention to the highest to be able to pass through there. Since this is my weekend car I can try to manage!
