Unhappy purchase help 05-06 e55

Help, I am having difficulty in having west coast dealers quote me a reasonable price in light of the e63 coming around the corner.
I am looking for a new 05/06 Obs black w/ keyless, burl walnut, lighting pack, premium pack, pano, parktronic, cd changer, parktronic, trunk closer, and rear shades. Am I unrealistic to be able to get close to 10-13k of msrp on 06 and 17k+ on an 05. I understand that east coast dealers are more willing to deal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I've been looking 2 months and getting very frustrated, ARGGG.

A Few
absolutely unrealistic to get $13k off an '06 or $17k off an '07.

that's a $94,444.00 vehicle, which is still a current model AMG without a new body change (unlike the S-Classe) and is still gonna go for a nice price, I would say nothing lower than $2-4k off...

C4s, to get 10K-13K of you certainly won't be able to spec' a car as you like. I recently bought my Barolo 06 for 12K off, but the dealer (MB Princeton) had three red and needed to move them. They were running it on Ebay and so he contacted me after the auction because I bid 50K for it. Three came with premium and trunk closer and one had keyless. It was a compromise as I always order parktronic and I am missing that beeping. A "new" 05 will be very rare.

its very much possible if you wait til the E63 launch date nears to a get discount that high on an 06, you can certainly get 15k off on 05s right now and possibly more when the E63 is released...the only part in question would be whether there exists a car to your exact specs, may have to do without certain minor options etc if it doesnt....but it is very much possible

2005 E55 Black
There is a big difference between getting a fully loaded or loaded with all of your option choices vs. an off-the-lot leftover. Color choice plays a factor in pricing. Black ones will bring a premium as well as the popular options. A black E55 nicely equipped is still demanding a good price.

You might get that kind of DISCOUNT on the LEFT OVER that nobody wants on the lot with the wrong color and options...

Does the dealer still have the Barolo in stock, I think the color is
unique, and would be willing to consider.

Thanks for the info, I think my frustration in not finding a car, is making me delirious. Assuming I am willing to forgo some amenities, is it unreasonable to get a good discount from msrp. Any advice and suggestions on where to look for a car close to my specs would be appreciated. At this stage I am willing to consider any part of the country.

Was the car in their inventory?
Did you deal with anyone specific? I believe in giving business to saleperson that treat the buying experience w/respect. How do you like the car? What options did u get.

Mercedes Benz of Princeton, Dale Cook (609) 771-8040 ex 271. I am sure you will get the same deal if he has inventory to move. Remember to calculate shipping or pick-up when deciding the deal. Good luck.
