Sway Bar Bushings?

Sway Bar Bushings?
OK, so from my understanding there are no aftermarket sway bars to stiffen the W211 E55. Does anyone know if bushings used in the sway bars and if so are there any stiffer bushing available? I have a 2004 and already will be changing the front control arms with the newer stiffer bushings. I would like to remove any slop from the sway bars. Thanks.

Not much out there in aftermarket suspension parts. Have you been here? http://www.prostreetonline.com/parts/mercedes/e55amg/ Mostly OEM but that's all I can offer.

Hi There:
Please do a search rear anti sway bar bushings. I , like you could not find direct drop in replacement. So I made my own. The top picture is the stock OEM rubber bushing. Lower pictures are what I made. Take care ___PTE___

Hey PTE, I did a search on the forum like to you said, I didn't find anything. I think I will also have to make up some bushings. Can you please post a link? I appreciate it.

While I had the rear suspension out ( Installing the new Quaife TBD & Lowering the car with Kleemann Springs) . I started to look at the Anti sway bar bushings. They seemed a little soft? . I went looking for just some commerically available replacements , that were exact bolt- ins. I couldn't find them , in the time spand of 2 weeks of seraching , and I needed to finish this project. So I made my own . I used a poly urethane boat trailer , keel rooler ,made by STOLTZ. Model RP-5 (5"). They are TOUGHER than Hell. Stuck it in the lathe. Matched the IDs & ODs. Drilled them for Grease Fittings. Drilled the metal clamps to match & align with the grease passages. The grease fitting was long enough ,on the threaded end to match the counter sunk hole in the new bushing and to keep it from turning/working/walking around under up loads.so far no Squeaks. ride is not harsher . Here are some pictures. Look under CLK 5.5 amg w-209
