got recall letter from mbusa for brake recall...they placed new bracket then software download would not take...they had to redo entire brake pump h/w etc. anyway, just got her back today....very happy-had to mash it on the hwy a few times just to make sure she had her lungs/legs intact. happy to report she was the same sprinter i left a week back...so glad to have the 55 back home. anyone else getting the recall letter? thanks all.

I have my letter, but I haven't taken it in yet. The brakes are just fine, so I am not in a rush to let some dealership work on my car when it does not need it. I went through that with the ECU recall.

I heard from somewhere that the brake recall had something to do with a harness and that it could lead to a fire.. !?!?! Not really sure.. They told me it would be a 1 day service.. its been a week and I still dont have my car!!!!
