Bulletin on I/C Pump
I picked up my E this morning from service. I brought it in for the last 2 recalls (Brakes and voltage regulator). I thought I'd try to get an upgraded intercooler pump by complaining that the car was losing power after I am "on it" for a while. (Never really happened, but thought I would try.)
The service advisor told me this morning that there were no fault codes stored in the car, but that there was some updated software that they installed per a specific bulletin that dealt with complaints of cars losing power.
Does anyone have any idea what this bulletin said and what the software was intended to do.
BTW - since the last recall was done on the ECU 6 weeks ago, my car has hit the rev limiter twice the first time I floor it in first gear. Car is in "S" mode. Any ideas?

Only happened to me the very first time after start-up that I nailed it in first gear.
Interesting that someone else had this happen after the ECU update. Maybe they've added the E63's 7,200 redline.

I guess I have a good dealer...
I said it might be faulty and if it not faulty it would become cause all 03 Models have this problem and AMG is aware of this and replacing them under warranty if dealer asks...
So they check the pump, it was fine, but they upgraded under warranty with latest version anyways
so cool...

I'm having the same issue (loss of power), I haven't taken it to the dealer yet, but anyone who got the dealer to change it, it would be great to hear what you said to them.
