Ok, so after some research, and phone calls with both HRE, and Peter at Wheel Experts, I have come to the conclusion that this is the correct lip size for this wheel. I measured With a digital caliper the distance from the face of the wheel, to the edge of the lip, and it is pretty close to where HRE told me it would be. The visible lip is 2.5" rear, and 1" front. This is due to the fact that the 840 series uses hidden hardware which causes the face of the wheel to cover about .5" of lip. The wheels were ordered with a 1.5" front, and 3" rear lip, but the face of the wheel eats up .5" of that lip. At this point i'm either going to stick with what I have, or go bigger, and get 20's with .5" more lip in the rear. I wonder if there is any interest in these if I were to sell them? Thanks to Peter, and to HRE for straightening this out for me so quickly.
