Couple of questions before taking to dealer

Hey guys. I am going to be taking my car into the dealer on Wednesday for the addition of Sirius radio. I know there is a recall right now and I have noticed that some people say they feel a loss of power after. What is the recall? The dealer told me about it but I really don't remember getting a letter in the mail. Also I have the infamous chirp when the car shifts between 1st and 2nd. What is the chirp and do I need to have it fixed? I did a search on the chirp by the way and couldn't come up with anything. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I believe the chirp you are experiencing is the chirp from the supercharger clutch . We all experience it after a certain number of miles. If it doesnt bother you, there is no harm. There is a fix, but it wears out eventually and must be reapplied.

As far as the recalls, there are several out there. One is for a ground wire for the braking system, one that demands a reflash of the ECU, and one or two others.

I believe there is a clutch pack that helps address the chirp, I think this includes some new parts rather than just sanding the clutch and appying the anti chirp paste, but I'm not sure; I know some have had this done and hopefully they will reply.
