BBS + Evosport = Sweeeet!!! (pics)

Well, I finally had the Evosport floating rotors and Pagid pads put on the car. I'm very happy with the results. There is no noise from the new pads/rotors and my impression is that I have better brake feel and greater stopping power. The machine also feels much lighter on her feet.

I could not tell if it had much affect on acceleration because I also had the "new and improved" K2 program installed while the car was at the shop. I will tell you that my car feels significantly faster than before. Acceleration is down right vicious and even scary. I drove to the track last night to get some numbers but had to turn back because of flooded out roads near the track. I will return...........................

A few pics:

Looks sweet. They are indeed very nice rotors and well worth the money in IMO. Can't wait to see some track numbers.

I can definitely tell a difference after loading the new K2 program.

I like them wheels. =) Any reason why you went with cross-drilled instead of slotted? If you're planning to run them hard @ the track I'd suspect you'd be worried about cracking. Unless you don't mind changing rotors fairly often.

Hey Rock, your combo looks awesome! has it been lowered? I can imagine if you lowered it a la dragonAMG style it would be evil!!

could you post your wheel sizes/offsets and tyre specs?! seems to be some very nice dish there!

Loren,

You will notice a big difference. The throttle response is much improved and the power is overwhelming. I cannot wait to get it to the track. I'm sure it's not all in my head.

Also, talk to Cory before you let the dealer re-flash your ECU as part of the recent recall service.

Welcome to the Lighter Rotor Club... Enjoy your time with quicker launches and less unsprung weight. Please feel free to supersize your purchase with some HRE Comps or BBS LM's for the ultimate performance AND look upgrade.

Very cool, love the up close pics and how the wheels match right up with the rotors in color. Your beast is one nasty a$$ silver machine.

No plans to track the car, no difference in weight (slotted vs drilled) and drilled look better (IMHO).

is the weight of the bbs 19inch rim AND tyre actually less than the weight of the 18inch stock rim and tyre? anyone know how much a stock rim on its own weighs?

i understand bbs makes some pretty light rims, are the HRE gear as light?
