18" wheels that are multipiece will look terrible. The reason the 65 series wheels look so nice is that the inner piece is a 18" wheel with an inch of lip and bolts around it. Now we'll have a 17" wheel with an inch of lip and bolts around it. IMO its going to look like smaller wheels. And why would they raise the limiter to 186 and not just take the damn thing off

I think the limit is due to tire ratings.

It's unbelievable that AMG has not yet gotten the memo, and not decided to put an LSD in the car from the factory.

I suppose it's like the Off-Road package for the ML. Remove the expensive and specialised equipment, leave it for the customers that know to demand it, let the rest of the people save some money.

Of course, that only makes sense if the price of the 030 package was the same amount of savings over the M5. Which it's not.

How much, do you think, is the limiter raise is worth?

2000-3000 USD would be my estimation for the Vmax delimit.

My understanding is that 030 package prices are 6K-14K USD, going up in the model range, with 14K being on the SL55.

An E63 030 Pkg might be as much as 10-12K listed retail....

Must they change the wheels!!!!

The new E63 wheels are hot, why change them for multipiece 18's?

As said, I don't think they are going to look all that great.

This package should ditch the stupid wheels and just come out for $5-$6k.

Which I would still think is an insult, let alone $8k+.
