Actually I think the S version might be the Saloon (re:station wagon to us).
I just talked to my sales rep and he says that the first 63's are on the water yet but should be preped and released from the VDC by July 12th. So that puts them into the dealerships by late July.
All 5 of them that is... so don't look for one on your local dealers lot.

A "saloon" is the British term for sedan, not station wagon. The term the Brits use for station wagon is "estate car".

The E63 S is indeed the station wagon version of the car. Mercedes Benz uses the S designation for all their wagons (estates/ shooting brakes).

Hence the E63T is the wagon version, just as the E55T was the wagon version of the E55.....

Sorry Clay but you are wrong, if you look at the chart provided and netstar you will see two types of E63 cars available. The E63 with no letter is the sedan and the E63S which is the wagon. It was the same for the E55 series as well! There is no T in any of the Mercedes Benz model designations.
A- stands for cabriolet
C- stands for coupe
S- stands for wagon
4- stands for 4-matic

Both views are correct. In Germany, the wagons/estates are "T-modells."

MBUSA calls them station wagons and uses the "S" suffix. If you do a used-car search at mbusa.com, you'll see E55S.
