New Picss Not E55
I didn't know if we had any muscle car fans so.... I thought I would post some pics on my old ride. Not an E55 but it run's low 10's if I can ever get it back on the road. I'm close, just a few loose ends. Hope you guys like it?

Those rims bring back such memories. Gorgeous ride!!
Yeah man, tell us what's under that thing. My pops had a stock candy apple red one, and it did NOT run any 10 sec times. Any pics of the motor? I love those bays. There is sooo much room under there to do your work.
That E55 in the back ain't too shabby either and neither is your hoop!!

Thanks for all the comments guys. It's a 408 stroker motor. The car will run low 11's on motor and I' have a small shot of Nitrous that puts it in the 10.0's. It is a street car that I can drive on long hauls if I choose. This was actually my first car that I ever owned. I just started working on the car 2 years ago to get it to this point. Here's a couple more pics. The photo of the motor is before the Nitrous install.

I have those same wheels on my 98 Camaro, except I have 315's in the back. Do you run slicks at the track because I can't imagine you running 10's on those tires? They look a little skinny. The car is a sleeper. It doesn't look like a low 11 to 10 sec. car until you open the hood. Beautiful.

Thanks a lot guys. It's good to see that my fellow MB'ers can appreciate this type of car.
Wayne, I don't know if I can handle the Vette. The car can only run in the 10's based on the cage and the amount of spray that I'm running. I could bump up the spray for one run against the Vette? I still don't think I can handle the Vette either way.
Rudyrono, I run a 15" DR on the rear for real 1/4 times. The tires that are on it are DR and they hook well but, I don't think I could get them to hook up with the spray.
Thanks again for all the compliments guys.

Still think it's funny....all this technology with the best designers in the world and the hottest selling cars today...the 60's and 70's retro cars. (Stangs, Chargers)
The classics are still alive!!!

It depends on what type of car. Mustang, Camaro, Charger, Vette etc... I've been offered high 70's for my car and I didn't take it. Not because it's not good money, it was my first car, my dad was the second owner.... You can find nice cars completely done in the upper 50's and 60's. I have more than that into mine.

Rock, if you want a car like that, it's better to buy one that's already done. Unless the journey is what you're after (that's the part I enjoy), the destination will be cheaper if someone else paid for the trip
You can find cars for $40k that cost 2-3x that to build.
