As far as HREs, how do you feel between the competition series and the others? I only care about performance (weight, etc.)

thanks
I dont have experience with standard HRE's but my Maya's weighed about the same and the comps are 4 lbs lighter at each corner. Unsprung weight is huge and you can tell the difference if the weight differential is large enough. You can feel the difference at launches- the car just seems more light and quick off the line.

20+ to list......
Since I'm a fan of HRE, which I use their wheels on my E55, BMW E60, and soon my drag Focus, I vote for HRE.

Asanti AF-112

Asanti Unknown Model

Autocourture Frantic

Those are a few more random rims.
My vote? The 845R from Neal in flat black with a polished or chrome lip (I still dunno what kind of lip would look best).

For now I'm thinking polished rim and black or gun metal spokes.

Looks like I can't get away from HRE, hehe.

Anyone here running the C22s?

With regard to spoke count, I do not think I could advise anything less than 5spoke (I personally do not care for any 3 spoke style, especially not for a 211)

I think a solid or split 5 spoke will do it.

Here are a few choices that you can take a look at on our site.

IFORGED Aero, Classic

KLASS KF100

ZONE 3 (thicker 5 spoke)

Has anyone put Volks on a 55? I had them on my old race car. They are extremely light and cost $$$. But worth the price.

What do ya mean. The rims can't handle the car?? Hmm, I didn't look to see if they make 18s in the C22s.

As a joke my brother would always tell me to ge the TE37's...but I kind of laughed it off. I understand the weight savings and all but I don't think the wheel fits the E55...maybe as a track wheel it would be nice but not as a everyday wheel? Just my 2 cents...

Weld E3 Concept Forged 3 spoke Mercedes Wheel

Check these wheels out.

http://www.e3wheels.com/revolution/

Click on number 106 Mercedes. 20" 3 spoke multipiece forged and look very cool. I don't know the weight however but I know Weld makes quality stuff. Just thought I'd show you what I found.

And to think i started this thread.

I think I am now leaning towards a five spoke, but I'd like skinny spokes. I know iforged works. I also love the HRE C22s. Anyone know anything about the weight / torque limits on the skinny spokes.
